Every June visitors gather to view the naturally occurring phenomenon of fireflies flashing synchronously. This amazing sight is influenced by environmental conditions, therefore it is hard to predict the exact date and time the fireflies will appear. Happening near the beautiful Elkmont Campground in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the popularity of the event increases significantly each year. Boston Whaler was founded by Richard Fisher in 1958. He crafted the first twin-sponson 13’ Whaler then in return try his best to destroy it by driving it up rocky rapids and even going as far as cutting the boat in half.
