Boston Whaler was founded by Richard Fisher in 1958. He crafted the first twin-sponson 13’ Whaler then in return try his best to destroy it by driving it up rocky rapids and even going as far as cutting the boat in half. The result, it is unsinkable.
Today, Boston Whalers are so much more than unsinkable.
Whaler production facility located in Edgewater, Florida is where every legendary Boston Whaler journey all begins. Expert designers and engineers employ cutting-edge CAD product development methods, build and test proprietary innovations such as the dive door, and subject each and every model to painstaking quality-control standards.
The goal that drives all of their engineering processes is to deliver a high-quality, low-maintenance boating experience. Their fiberglass is hand-laid and they use superior resin systems to provide a tough, durable ride from the hull up.
