If you are a car collector your wildest dreams have come true! There have been 500, yes you heard right, 500 forgotten “new” classic cars discovered at a dealership in a small Nebraska town. This dealership once sold to local families and first time buyers in Pierce, Nebraska for over 50 years. The husband and wife team closed their doors seventeen years ago and since then a staggering inventory of 500 surviving cars, new and used, have been stowed away, "undriven" for decades.

What a concept!! We have noticed more and more ice cream boats showing up on local lakes. Most ice cream boats are pontoons that have a generator and freezer for the ice cream. They are decorated with advertisement logos and also play the familiar ice cream music you would hear from a regular ice cream truck.  We have seen the excitement on the children’s faces as they run toward their boat dock whenever they hear the music. There is nothing like a cold ice cream to beat the heat on a hot summer day.

Carp hunting is certainly not like carp fishing!  Asian carp are nervous and get spooked by the sound of a boat motor and especially a boat with an aluminum hull. They literally jump out of the water and fly through the air so you can shoot the fish with a bow and arrow, thus the term "carp hunting." Silver carp can jump up to 10 ft. and weigh as much as 60 pounds.  Asian carp were originally imported to the southern United States in the 1970’s to keep retention ponds clean at fish farms and waste water treatment plants.
