American FlagJune 14th is known as National Flag Day of the United States. The entire week of June 14th is famous as National Flag Week. The National Flag of the United States was adopted on June 14th in the year 1777 by the Second Continental Congress. During 1916 President Woodrow Wilson established this day as the official National Flag Day. During Flag Week all U.S. citizens are urged by the President to fly the flag of our Nation, the American Flag. Every year, beginning in 1968, the Flag Day Parade is held in Troy, New York, this is the largest parade in the nation in honor of the American flag! Fly your flag proudly this June 14th 2013th.
