National Safe Boating Week is May 18-May 24, 2013. The National Safe Boating Council,Inc. was organized in September 1958 under the name National Safe Boating Committee.  This council’s mission is to promote a safer recreational boating experience through education, outreach and training. It provides safe boating material, resources, tools and leads the annual safe boating awareness campaign.
