Correct Tire Pressure-Does it Matter?

Maintaining proper tire pressure is important for many reasons. It reduces the potential of a flat tire or a blowout and it also provides the optimum handling of your vehicle. Tires that are not at the correct tire pressure will increase the rolling resistance of the vehicle and under-inflated tires result in increased rolling resistance and therefore require more fuel to move the car.  The proper way to check your tires' inflation is to use a tire gauge. But there are a couple of signs that your vehicle’s tires may be improperly inflated; if your car pulls to one side when driving a straight line the tires may be improperly inflated or if the outside tread or edges of the tire are worn or rounded your tires may also be over inflated. Get your tires inspected to make sure you are riding around on safe tires. And keep your car protected with a durable, soft CoverQuest Car Cover made in the USA!
